Ukraine has for the first time confirmed that the country has used Saab’s ASC 890 airborne early warning and control aircraft in combat operations.
The Swedish-made aircraft has been in operational use since March 2026, Ukraine’s defence ministry told Swedish financial daily Dagens industri, without providing further details.
